Schuyler,
In the archives at Steamtown, we have the following folders:
DL&W RR--Chief Engineers Files--8163--Proposed side track--H.W. Young,
Contractor--Wilseyville, NY (1921)
DL&W RR--Superintendent of Signal Files--Trackage--256--Wilseyville, NY
(1935-1952)
We also have quite a few folders for the LVRR on Wilseyville. Let me know
if any of these sound of interest.

Thanks, Todd, I'll post the reason I asked a bit later today or tonight.
But, looking (unsuccessfully) for Wilseyville on Google Earth, I came up
with a question or two.
Looking at this location:
42d 21' 01.34" N
76d 23' 46.13" W
It appears that there is a double embankment across the pond there. Was
there a siding or double track there on the Ithaca branch?
And (I've been accused of seeing things that don't exist before) just to
the
left and slightly down, across the valley, it sure looks like there was a
long, broadly curved line diverging from the Ithaca Branch about 0.8 miles
south of the cited spot above, curving counterclockwise around the base of
the hill there.
Lumber spur?
