(erielack) Cohocton/Conhocton



Having worked with a variety of source materials, I can say that there is  
no consistency to the usage of Cohocton or Conhocton.  Not in the  past, and 
not in the present.  Not in the railroads' official documents,  and not in 
popular use.  "Cohocton" is slightly more likely to be used in  modern 
times.  The variation extends to such EL predecessor names as the  Buffalo & 
Co[n]hocton Valley.
