I wish I, or some other fan had gotten access to the Yard Office at Marion Ohio soon after Conrail.
There must've been files upon files of daily paperwork just waiting for a "Liberation" that for the most
part also ended up in a dumpster, or on the burnpile. Today, those records would be a real gold mine
for modelers like myself.
I also recall that a different sort of "liberating" began almost as soon as the EL cease'd to exist, and that
was people making off with sections of copper wire from the pole line.
