Per the earlier E-mail, here's a satellite view of the two lines:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=mountain+view,+nj&hl=en&ll=40.916691,-74.269617&spn=0.009421,0.013797&sll=40.91778,-74.26639&sspn=0.037682,0.055189&t=h&z=16
The EL Boonton Line comes in at a shallow angle from the center left, and curves to the southwest to connect with the former NY&GL. But if you follow the tangent of the Boonton Line, it contines straight onto the Totowa Industrial.
The NY&GL continues north-northwest into the trees (the end of track today is roughly at the top of the image).
