The Lackawanna railroad bridge that has been around for more than 100 years just west of the station in Scranton is being torn down. The bridge at Cedar Avenue has been condemned since the 1980s and is causing safety issues for drivers.This was the former Mainline, the freight trackage with "Lackawanna Railroad" painted on it carries all NPS, Delaware Lackawanna Railroad traffic.
