Re: (erielack) Emailing: P1012990.jpg CNJ Repaint & Marker lights question

Great question I never gave this a thought as to its design and where it came
from.

A photo I received of the freshly repainted CNJ RS3 1554 at Scranton. My
question is: Were these marker lights an Alco thing, as in did the
various RRs buy them from Alco? Did the Erie then EL get the idea for
them

from...................? Who used them first? I don't believe the
Erie/ EL had the additional flag holder on theirs? Did all the CNJs have
that or was that added in the last 20 years?
