(erielack) Next slide from the 70's

I do believe this was Columbus day 1974.....I was at home in my apartment
on Paulison Avenue in Clifton when I suddenly heard this incredible racket
on EMD engines. Looking out the window I saw this train slowing down for
Paterson Junction about 3/4 of a mile west.......with my eyes popping out of
my head I grabbed my camera bag and headed out in pursuit. It was late
afternoon and it was raining cats and dogs, but I knew that what I had seen
was rare enough that I had to try to get a shot. I made it to Kuller Road,
which is adjacent to the junction, but one had to climb a very steep hill to
access an area in which to shoot. I was hoping that this freight would be
held up by a commuter train, but that wasn't the case, as I could hear him
begin to accelerate. The rain was suddenly torrential as I scrambled up the
hill and barely had time to focus and shoot one shot.... When I got the
slide back I was disappointed at how dark it came out.....until now....
