Todd,

This was all yard limits, and the trains wouldn't be moving very quickly through here. There is an S-curve in there, but it's relatively minor, and no long cars usually moved through here (no piggyback flats, for example). It's a yard! :)  And many yard ladders also feature similar S-curves in there.
