From the 1964 EL rule book, which includes among its examples former DL&W
signals:
Rule 282:
Name: Approach-Medium
Aspect: Yellow-over-green
Indication: Approach next signal at not exceeding Medium Speed.
Rule 283:
Name: Clear-Medium (called Medium Clear on most other railroads)
Aspect: Red-over-green
Indication: Proceed through crossovers or turnout with entire train at not
exceeding Medium Speed, then resume Normal Speed to next signal.
