(erielack) May Calendar

I had some questions about the caption accompanying the May
picture in the EL calendar. The RS2 sith a combine and three
coaches at Tuxedo. As far as I could determine, there were no
timetable movements of trains with 4 numbers beyond Suffern.
Train 1155 was due into Suffern at 8:31 AM. The picture does not
look like early morning. There was a train 55 that ran to Port Jervis.
It would have stopped at Tuxedo at 3:23 PM. This picture looks
more like that train. Does anybody have any further clarification on
this caption? It was not uncommon for Erie to use this type of
equipment on the PJ run.

Also, I was looking at the picture with a magnifying glass. It looks
like a group of students, all wearing the same uniform or outfit, are
getting off. Could this have been a field trip?

I also was impressed with those fancy station lights. It gave the
station extra class. Are they still around? I haven't been in the
Tuxedo area for quite awhile.
