I completely forgot about these cars. The EL later extended the cars to 85'
to the center of the cars to make them more suitable for more modern (i.e.
40') trailers. The EL eventually used these cars for all sorts of service.
I purchased two Walthers cars, and will use one as an "organ donor" to get
the 10' splice section for the first...
