RE: (erielack) PK2 ERIE GP-7 (error)



Paul and listers:

In an earlier posting, I erred in providing the same link twice (as pointed
out by Paul T at the bottom of his message below).

The correct links should be:

My observation still holds of two GP7's in the same location and
approximately the same time with a DL&W boxcar, 15 postmerger.

I guess I should test links before I send them!!

Yes, it does repeat itself symmetrically, but no - the horizontal piece
never crosses in front of the diamond - that's where the drop step is!

There is a SUPERB photo in the Kalmbach book Geep book of the end railings
of an Erie GP7 - highly recommended!
