the models are
in Roman. Pictures of prototype show Gothic.

You can never make "absolute" statements about most EL freight cars'
paint
and lettering, I've discovered. Generally speaking, earlier repaints
have
Roman reporting marks, while later ones use the Gothic. Lettering
positions
also seemed to be fairly arbitrary, as well as car color (black?
white?
red?)...
