I also remember when the EL started using the DL side east of 
Binghamton, the EL tore up the second main east of Binghamton to rebuild 
Meadville Yard, just as the tore up the DL's westbound main 1963 between 
Corning & Buffalo, to rebuild Hornell Yard, prior to building Bison Yard 
in Buffalo.
