Re: (erielack) Questions re: Transfer cabeese



  Schuyler, a careful look at the N&W model (and/or plans) show some
differences between the N&W and EL versions, mostly in the side frames and
deck.  So the Custom Brass version isn't exactly right for the EL.  I did
what you did and purchased one of the CB units a long, long time ago. 
While living in Virginia found that Ken's Trains was selling Athearn kit
bashes of the N&W version in blue.  Had them make up two in basic red,
unlettered and was, when Paul did the decals, planning to letter them EL. 
Found out that I would have to paint the roof and flat car body black, so
they still sit on the shelves.Well, I did give in and got the Croxton
version by Overland.  Still would like to know how they were used.  Croxton
to Paterson???
