Re: (erielack) Reporting Marks

It is not just a leasing companies that have X marked cars. It merely means
that the car has a private owner, however a majority of the owners may be
leasing cars to the general railroad market. But for example Exxon and other
companies own cars that carry their plastic pellets to their customers. An
individual can also acquire its own reporting marks to move a car. They need
to get the car on the Umbler listing of cars and place an AEI tag on the car
and have it moved around on the general railroad system.
