Hello folks,
As Tim Stuy, it's been slow lately, so here's a question to get the brain cells moving again... :)
A friend of mine lent me a slide of EL 802 and 803 sitting at the Bethlehem, PA engine facility.
The date stamped on the slide (the date of developing the slide) is March 1976, so the image is definitely pre-Conrail.
So this begs the question: What are these two SD45s doing off-line in Bethlehem on the LV/RDG? (remembering that by this date, the CNJ had pulled out of PA, so it couldn't have been a pair of ES-99/SE-98 units that were temporarily hijacked)
Any thoughts?
- Paul
