Unfortunately, the Kadee 50' PS-1 is incorrect for the EL as-is, but the ELHS did do a custom run of EL 50' double-door cars from Intermountain Railway several years ago, which *are* correct for EL, obviously.
The biggest bugaboo with EL 40' boxcars is that the vast majority of them were rebuilt in the mid-to-late 1960s, and the most obvious sign of the rebuilding was a new straight sidesill "stiffener." There is no boxcar on the market that is correct, out of the box, to represent the rebuilt cars. Of course, a few did escape without being rebuilt, and an even smaller group escaped without having their roofwalks removed and ladders shortened.
