(erielack) CDS Dry-Transfers closing down

Thanks to Rob Schoenberg for forwarding this from the PRR-Talk mailing list. CDS makes some excellent dry-transfers for DL&W boxcars; get 'em while you can!

Subject: [PRR] CDS Ltd. Dry Transfers

Folks,

First, my apologies for cross listing, but this is of importance to those

of us who still build our models.

Apparently another victim of the ready-to-run era. Just read a posting
from the Railway_Decal_Express_Agency_@_yahoogroups.com list that CDS is
informing
retailers of their retirement from the business. The end of this year is the

end of CDS. Reference:

On TMR Distributing's CDS catalog page, it's announced that
CDS is ceasing production as of the end of the year.

For those of you not familiar with this line, their products are known for

being of very high quality and thoroughly researched. Both narrow gauge and

standard gauge sets are offered in N through G scales. This line is the
product of two gentlemen up Canada way.

In short, "Get'em while you can." A sad day for us non-RTR modelers.
