The caboose is located on the back road into Hornell. I would guess that it is about a mile or so east of the road that crosses the east end of the yard. You have to pass a 4 or 5 bay garage on the south side of the road(westbound). There are a group of 4-5 homes and the shell should rest on the left side of the first house on the south side of the road. The people who own it seem friendly, but make sure to ask for permission to take a look. I do believe the owner is an ex EL/Conrail employee. I will try to locate more information if I can locate the folder with the drawings I did a few years back for the brass model that was done. If you go out there in the summer beware of the bees, lots of them.
