I have it on good authority that the Scranton Division bridges were numbered consecutively from west to east beginning at Binghamton. The mileposts had no bearing on the bridge numbers until later when EL (I think) revised the system to correspond with miles and hundredths. We are looking for an actual bridge list showing the old numbers, and to show how far east the DL&W carried the Binghamton series (Washington, Hampton, Port Morris?)
