I understand your logic in this, however If Amtrak wanted to run trains to Scranton or via Scranton the Federal Gov would have that line already funded and at least under construction by now.... and Personally Id love to see the Phoebe Snow reborn as another route to Chicago (New York Scranton Binghamton Elmira Buffalo Cleaveland FtWayne Chicago) And yes covering the ROWs of DLW, ERIE and NKP right now that would be CP and NS on the western half.....But Do I think itll happen in next 5 years NO If we are Lucky Commuter service to Scranton by then.... unlike some I believe that part will be done! ist just a when?
