I know this will beak ur heart, Joshua, but there was just such a collection in the Conklin roundhouse in the 60s. The night foreman, Clarence Lavelle, showed me a few and gave me one (of the roundhouse from across the turntable). Shortly afterwards, someone stole the lod shoebox that had all the fotos. This was about 1966 or so and I had been working the night hostlers job and would sit and talk to Mr. Lavelle. I had taken a foto of the roundhouse as it was in the 60s and gave it to him, so he responded by giving me the picture of the roundhouse as it was. I blew it up recently and could make out a 1600 class and several other engines in the stalls. It appeared to be late 30s or early 40s.............not a diesel in sight.
