I believe thanks to Disney (who petitioned the US Government at least 3
times), the copyright term is up to 75 (!!!) years - remember "Snow White?"

This is something I've always wondered - if I buy an original slide from a
slide dealer, am I free to do as I with it? Post it online, etc.?

The laws about intellectual property are often vague in this regard...
