Probably the best thing one can do concerning old photos found in a junk shop or an estate sale ect., is to do your best to find the photographer. If you are unable to do this then post them on the Internet and offer them for private use only. This way, if you see a photo that you like, you can download it and print it for yourself and nobody gets hurt. By the way, I had some digital photos printed by Sony and they are THE greatest prints I have ever seen. Go to http://www.imagestation.com and join up. It doesn't cost anything to be a basic member. You can upload photos into albums and send them to your friends and they can print what they want. You really need to check it out.
