An RPO car was also pushed through a bumper in this incident. Two good
photos of the accident can be found on page 27 of "Lackawanna Route In
Central NY" published in 1977 by the CNY Chapter of the NRHS. I highly
recommend this book to anyone interested in old photos of the DLW in Central
NY. I don't seem to see it available from the local NRHS chapter or the
National site either. It is however available at the follwing link, though
there may be only a very few copies available.
