Re: (erielack) FW: Pullman car question

Tom and all,

The Bachmann car is correct for the DL&W Scenic series, not the Lake series.
The Scenic series is unique in that it had only one vestibule end making it
an interesting model. I did an extensive article on converting the Bachmann
car to the DL&W version in the Spring 2006 issue of the ELHTS Limited, page
32. Much of the conversion was around the underbody details, which are
wrong on the Bachmann model.

A great reason to join the ELHTS, if you aren't already a member.

The ELHTS is not meant to be a competitor to the ELHS, but rather a
compliment that offers some additional perspectives, especially in the
modeling area. I am members of both organizations as well as the ARHS and
they all provide valuable information on the EL, DL&W and Erie. I would
recommend all three organizations!
