Re: (erielack) Question: fan trip on DL&W late 1963 or early '64



FWIW, I have photos of the PAs on this trip in Scranton during the engine 
change. This was an ambitious trip -- we did the old main line via 
Washington and Manunka Chunk westbound.

There may be some confusion over the trips, as the Northumberland trip 
didn't really have any major delays --- only that the trip between Scranton 
and Northumberland had been scheduled on former passenger schedule timings, 
which simply was not possible. We arrived to the siding east of 
Northumberland about 4:30 PM, when we should have been there around 2 PM --  
then took an extra two hours to get back to Scranton.

The Dining Car was well-stocked.

Was not the trip with the breakdown the one that did the B&P?
