Re: (erielack) Newburgh Branch(s)

  Ray,

Part of Graham Line? This would mean the branch is newer then other Newburgh Branch out of Chester? So why was it first to be abandoned? That is only station remaining? Was there a yard at Highland Mills before if left the Graham Line to cross Route 32 bridge? Is that bridge still standing. Remember it as a kid when my parents would go to Highland to se emy mom's brother and sister.

I recall waking O&W near Cornwall and the line went over the O&W at West Cornwall by a furl supply company which I believed was switched by O&W one time.

I know ROW to original Brnach is not all intact. Only parr remaining is from CP55 to Vails Gate?

In CT there is the abandoned NH Air Line from Thompson to Hamden used as a rail trail. Some 50 miles of this line is a trail. Don't know if CR used it before going to a trail. Never been there but saw it mentioned in a CT Book
