I think they did, but I don't what percentage of the costs the D.T.&I. paid. Most of the D.T.&I. train order work was handled by "foreign" road operators at various towers where they crossed. Maitland, another EL tower where the D.T.&I. crossed the Dayton branch also handled D.T.&I. train orders.
