The new Train Magazine showed up yesterday, with the Map of the Month being "Scranton - 1939." Overall, an excellent job -- it is based on the Erie Map Bill Shepherd was (is?) selling with some additional features. One might nitpick at both the accompanying text and some of the map details (I'm sure there'll be letters from the gotcha gang amongst the rivet-counters), but overall it's an outstanding effort and modelers might find the prototype for having all that track crammed into a 4x8 space <g>.
