Not sure about "pure" (i.e., non rebuilt) Erie or DL&W cars that survive, but I know of a few rebuilt (new sidesill) 40' EL cars that are still around - there was one at Altoona, PA (though it might be scrapped by now, but it was still around a few years back), and there's at least one on the property of the Valley RR Company in Essex, CT.
