I guess that is what I am wondering. Will Athearn basically use the same frame from the old FP45 for the new Genesis FP45? They would have had to solve the truck bolster problem for the new RTR SD45 that has scale-width hoods, because I think they re-tooled the old RPP shell for their new run of SD45s. (Any idea if they will do one for EL?) But, the wide body of the FP45 won't require them to significantly re-tool the frame.
I don't feel like spending $100 to find out that the Genesis FP45 frame won't work.
