Why did Mr. Link's locomotive end up in Rome, NY?

If it ain't broke, take it apart, and find out why.

K&K Hobbies in Rome is the shop with Link's Canadian Pacific loco beside it.

To go with the map in yesterdays digest here are pictures of K&K sign, what would be a one stop hobby shop for me, and the CPR loco. The hobby shop is the building behind the loco and the track with the speeder on it is a former O&W branch now operated by the NYS&W.
