Reviewing the May picture, it appears that this PA had recently been repainted. ERIE Magazine did a story on this around '58 or '59 repainting the black and yellow PA's with the green tones. They were using a new type of paint that was expected to last about ten years. I have the article stored away somewhere -- can't remember the paint as I write this. However, the PA was probably repainted G/N/Y within 5 or 6 years.
