Randy Brown - -------------------------------------------------------------- As with all of the Rapido models the steam generator car is a Canadian protype used extensively up there in winter due to the extreme cold weather either as a suplement to the locootive's own steam generators or when freight units are used to power the trains. I've ridden a number of trains in Canada which had these cars in the consist, the last being a steam fantrip with CNR 4-8-4 6218 to Quebec City, it's final trip out of Montrea prior to retirement. I don't believe the DL&W, Erie or EL rostered any of these.
