I don't foresee any realistic way the entire Sussex Branch could be restored. The lower end has too many pieces missing, what with the parking lot in Netcong, the section from the split off from the old Main to the cemetery, continental drive, not to mention all those crossings through Andover. If there were any chance of utilizing the Sussex Branch, it would be from Warbasse in Lafayette, north/westwards, breaking off the Susie Q at Sparta Junction and following the old Susquehanna to Warbasse. (even this scenario is somewhat doomed as once (haha) passenger service starts on the NYSW, it's logical terminus would be at the Rt. 15 crossing or Sparta Junction. I agree and dont know why NJT hasnt gone after the Sussex Branch other than the Fear it would stir up MORE NIMBYS than even the Cutoff!
