Since the EL Calendar says this is "June 31st", take the day off and imagine riding The Phoebe across the cut-off or riding in one of the old subscription cars on the Morristown or Gladstone Line. Then again you can always imagine what it was line to ride The Lakeland into Hoboken at 60+ mph on the original Boonton Line across The High Bridge, skirting Paterson and then down through the industrial areas of Passaic to the Meadowlands.
