I personally would go off and explore the "remnants of Phoebe" - see what's still out there. I discover that it really does tend to revive your spirit and your appreciation of the EL/Erie/DL&W. Two weeks ago I took the afternoon off to do some covert birthday shopping for my wife :), but I also decided to go and explore (and photograph) EL locales - specifically, the Lake Hopatcong station area and Lake Junction - particularly the alignment of the "new connection." Of course, I also have my modeling interests there as well, but standing alongside the "New Connection", I could easily envision the straining CNJ and EL units pulling ES-99 up the hill and onto the former DL&W here. It's nice that we all have our imaginations. :) - Paul The Erie Lackawanna Mailing List http://EL-List.railfan.net/ To Unsubscribe: http://Lists.Railfan.net/erielackunsub.html ------------------------------
