Re:RE: (erielack) PSC Erie K-5b's

K5s were 2915 to 2934, not 2924 as stated below.
- --------------------------------------------------------------
Lee and list;
    The Railway and Locomotive Historical Society's Vol No. 131 on Erie Locomotives, pages 91-92 shows:

#2915 - 2924 as Class K-5 USRA Heavy Pacifics, 27x28 cyl, 79in drivers, all built 1919.

#2935 - 2944 as Class K-5A, 27x28 cyl, 79in drivers, all built 1923.

#2960 only Class K-5B, 28x28 cyl, 78in drivers, built 1926. Note says "Ordered with uniflow cylinders but construction halted when half completed, and later finished with conventional cylinders."

I see a rebuild of some K-4's, as follows, were these confused with 2960 in your info Lee?

#2744 - 2753 are recorded as "Class K-4A, later K-4B", all built 1923 with 25 1/2 x 28 cyl, 69in drivers. All rebuilt at Meadville, 1929 - with stoker and feedwater heater, 27x28 cyl, 75in drivers.
