Terry, I can't speak directly about Marion, but the crews generally got a 2 hour call, if at all possible. They had to have time to get ready, eat, pack a lunch and drive to the terminal. Many crew members lived 30 minutes or more away. When a westbound train passed Stony Point we'd give Marion a 2 hour figure at Kent. If it was an IDR crew they would not require a new crew at Kent, but the Marion DS would have a ballpark figure and we'd always tell him when the train was by SN Jct as it took about 30-35 minutes to get to Kent. With eastbound trains, we'd give Hornell a two hour figure when the train was approaching WC Jct at Salamanca. SMT **************Gas prices getting you down?
