(erielack) ELDCPS Needs Your Help - Members Project Returns

ELDCPS needs your help, and this time, you don't have to be an AMEX
cardholder to do so!
	
As you may recall, ELDCPS participated last year in the Members Project
sponsored by American Express. The winning idea received $1 million. Thanks
to our drive for people to visit the site and vote we were able to make the
first round cut and finished as project number 41 out of over 3000 submitted
overall. While it would have been nice to win the money, the publicity
generated by it was extremely helpful to us. 

Starting July 23, the Members Project is back for a second year with a
chance to win up to $1.5 million. We will be promoting The Pullman Project
for this year's contest, and our project can be found under "Pullman Porter
African American History Initiative". Once you find it, please vote for it
in this first round and look back to support us if we make it into the
subsequent voting rounds. 

In an important change from last year, you do not have to be an American
Express cardholder to participate in the first round. Between now and
September 1, 2008, anyone can sign up for a Members Project account and
nominate our project to continue to the second round. The Top 25 projects
will move on to the second round, and voting for the second round will begin
September 9. You must be an AMEX cardholder to vote in the second, and all
subsequent, rounds.

Please visit the Members Project website and nominate us for the Top 25.
Links are available from the Members Project page to spread the word to
friends and family. With your help, we hope to better our Top 50 showing
from last year and make it to the Top 25 cutoff. Help us raise up to $1.5
Million for our project!
