I received a Comet 1 cab car and coach from Island Modelworks, and to be honest, I was less than impressed for the price ($65+shipping for each). It's just a carbody (with significant flash cleanup required) and a pair of assemble-it-yourself white metal trucks - no wheelsets, either. I haven't had a chance to compare the bodies to the prototype photos yet - - been busy with work and family the past 2 weeks - but I hope to get photos and a better review posted soon. By the way, if you want to see resin models that I rate a solid "10", take a look at: http://www.railyardmodels.com A lot of their freight cars are appropriate for EL-timeframe layouts. - Paul The Erie Lackawanna Mailing List http://EL-List.railfan.net/ To Unsubscribe: http://Lists.Railfan.net/erielackunsub.html ------------------------------
