RE: (erielack) Website Update - 11/01/2008



Geez, Jon, a home run for me this time.  Binghamton Sanborns, Erie 0-6-0s, and the 0-8-8-0s.  Greats
stuff.

Do you know if there were Sanborns from any earlier than the ones you have scanned?  Did they even
exist?  Both the ERIE and the Lackawanna rebuilt their stations there sometime after 1900, but I
don't know exactly when.  And MH Connor is writing up Binghamton for the convention next year, and
I'd like to see that change covered.  The original DL&W station was where the freight station is in
the Sanborns you have here, and was relocated to Lewis Street then.  This shows in some of those
"birds-eye views" you can find (I have one) but it'd be even better if it could be shown by use of
maps.
