Some years ago, the comic strip "The Wizard Of Id" showed Sir Rodney asking the king for a donation to "the war against sunburn." The king asked, "Where is it being fought?" "Binghamton." "It's going to be a long fight!" This was nationally syndicated. Boy! You have a couple of rainy days, and you're marked forever! Of course, if you have rainy days forever . . . I once postulated a rail museum where everything was painted in shades of gray. This was for an operation in the Connecticut River Valley in Vermont, but the idea was the same. It didn't matter if the sun didn't shine -- you used your color film anyway and got nice period-type b&w pix.
