Yeah, I used to be a real "touchy-feely" guy and would have to see things for myself.  (man...does that sound creepy or what?)  Of course, that was back in the day when the only pictures you could see of most products was the little thumbnail image in the Walthers catalog, or maybe a magazine advertisement or review.  Quite often, if you went mail order, you couldn't see something before you bought it.  

Times have changed.  Now every manufacturer has a web site with relatively big pictures of most products they make.  I no longer worry about ordering something because I've already been able to check it out on the web.

I've only been really disappointed with an order once in the last few years that I can think of, and that is with the new Intermountain EL 40 foot boxcars.  I think they should have talked to Paul Tup. to get the lettering correct.  Ah well.
