The Erie Depot in Forestville, NY, on the original Erie Mainline / Dunkirk Branch, is in imminent danger of being demolished. Unless there were others on the east end of the Erie that I don't know about, I believe the Forestville depot is the last surviving station of its type. There were sister depots at Little Valley, Cattaraugus, and Perrysburg, on the Dunkirk Branch, as well as a series of related designs at Savona, Kanona, and Avoca on the Rochester Branch. The Avoca depot may still be standing as well - a railroad building there is occupied by a small engine repair shop / dealership. I'm not sure if the building is the depot or a freighthouse, or something else...it's almost unrecognizable.
