I've seen pictures of horse drawing locomotives on flatcars or flat beds up Market Street in front of City Hall. The Paterson Evening News did a lot of stories about locomotive building in Paterson over the years. I'm not sure whether they used the trolley tracks or if they had their own spur. Grant Locomotive was next door where the trolley/bus barn is now located.
