Well, we do have modelers license anyhow. Seriously, I don't plan on a "salt & pepper" look with my ballasting. The lighter gray stone will represent newer ballast on the main while the darker stone will represent older ( and sparser ) ballast on a branch line, sidings, etc. Todd K.
