RE: (erielack) Bush Trainsheds, where, when and how much

     When I worked at the original Auto-Train, we purchased some cars from SCL & when we went to Jacksonville to look at them, I went thru the old Union Station archives (the bums & winos had set them on fire). There were letter files from Mr. Bush to the Terminal Co. & one listed all the places where the trainsheds were. I believe it included the Pacific Electric terminal in L. A. I think the letter was a carbon, so Mr. Bush's signature was not an original. I donated most of the stuff to the Florida Historical Society in Cocoa, Fl. Like Scranton, lots of the stuff got thrown away by the RRs. Of course, the bums had peed on it sooooo...... BTW, I got into the Nicholson station at the north end of the viaduct and the same thing happened there too. There were wads of DL&W trainorders in the commode. I could have cried.
